1 of just 150 16v Anniversary models imported into the UK to celebrate the 20th birthday of the Golf GTI. Totally unmodified - this GTI is 100% as it left the Wolfsburg factory in early autumn 1996. 5 owners in total, sold by us to the last 2. Supplied 31/8/96 by Heron Grantham Ltd to lady from Oakham, Leicestershire. At some point between 99 & 00 it was purchased by a lady from Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. She kept it until 26/10/04 when it was purchased by a Club GTI regional host who lived in Worcestershire. We purchased it directly from him and soon sold to a local gentleman on 11/7/05 who traded in a Polo 1.9D. He kept it until 27/9/08 when it was traded in with us for a Passat TDI Estate due to a change in circumstances. We sold it to a local enthusiast and ex-VW mechanic who traded in a low mileage Mk2 Golf GTI - he just happened to be the person that did the 2006 cambelt change and service and he now runs our Wizard Works workshop - he's replaced it with a highly tuned Golf TDI.

Genuine 78000 miles from new with FSH in original service book supported by most bills in ring binder. Serviced at 5796 (26/8/97), 10318 (24/8/98), 15275 (1/9/99), 23833 (16/8/00), 32753 (31/8/01), 42646 (9/8/02), 48489 (3/9/03), 52488 (18/8/04), 61027 (16/5/05), 64507 (10/05/06), 68441 (1/8/07), 72223 (7/7/08), 76785 (16/6/09). Full asking price includes service. MOT to 30/9/10. No road tax supplied. Cam followers and cam chain replaced by Stealth Racing in October 2007.

I used to own a Golf GTI Anniversary which I purchased in Dec 99 to replace a standard Mk3 GTI and nearly 11 years later this one is in far better condition and has covered a lower mileage. The problematic BBS RXII split-rim alloy wheels were professionally refurbished towards the end of the 4th owner's ownership period and are still in near perfect condition.
