| 2003 model year MkIV Golf R32 in Reflex Silver. Supplied 9/3/04 by Grimsby Volkswagen. 4 owners from new. In Dec 2009 we bought it from the 3rd owner (a bank manager from Wariwckshire) who took delivery from Drift Bridge VW, Epson, Surrey in June 2009 having traded in his Mk4 Golf GTI Anniversary. A promotion led to a company car so we were offered the car and sold it to the 4th owner, a mature enthusiast from Gloucestershire who traded in his low mileage Mk2 Golf GTI 16v. We had it back off him as he had originally missed a Deep Blue Pearl Effect R32 that we were selling in Nov 2009 and when we got another in stock he finally got the R32 he had wanted originally and traded this one in with us. | ||
| 40100 miles with a full service history in original service book. Supplied with QG1 longlife servicing enabled when new so first service at 14280 (22/2/06), 23126 (5/3/08), 23765 (30/5/08), 33204 (10/6/09). All but 2nd service by VW though serviced again very shortly afterwards by VW when sold to 3rd owner. Full 40k service just performed by us and worth around £300. | ||

| We only had this R32 for a week when we sold it in Dec 2009 and with the days being short and weather cold we didn't really have the opportunity to appreciate how nice an example it really was. Since then it has been carefully detailed by the last owner and now it's summer it really does look a near perfect example. In June 2009 the 3rd owner extended the VW warranty for a year and this was transferred to the last owner who recently had one of the costly rear coil springs replaced at no cost so rest assured anything that was required would have been carried out. In Dec 09 we fitted four new tyres and had the wheels professionally refurbished (we don't use 'Smart' repairers) and this time round we have replaced the single CD changer for the correct 6 disc item. Having done quite a few miles in it this time I can confirm it really is a very nice driving example, equally happy to amble along in 6th at 30mph as it is to explore the upper reaches of its rev range. | |||||||||
